Microgaming Set to Absorb Entraction Poker Network Skins

Owners of the Entraction Poker Network (EPT), International Gaming Technology (IGT) have announced that they will be shutting down the poker network that it acquired for $108.2 million last year.

International Gaming Technology withdrew the poker network from markets such as Russia, Belgium, Spain, Canada, Turkey and Israel which resulted in traffic to the network beginning to thin.

Entraction Poker Network’s online poker skins are already in the process of looking for other network and it is believed that Entraction skins such as iGame.com, Pokerihuone.com and 24Poker.com which are all owned by iGame Malta will soon be joining Microgaming. These are probably not the only Entraction skins that will join Microgaming as there are currently many more online poker sites in the network that are looking for another home and are considering the Microgaming Poker Network.

The Microgaming Poker Network currently consists of more than 40 online poker rooms and includes some of the most respected online gambling operators in the industry such as Ladbrokes Poker, 32Red Poker, Golden Riviera Poker, Royal Vegas Poker and Roxy Poker.

Established in 1994, Microgaming’s software development team has a reputation for offering the highest game variety across all gambling platforms with its Poker Network reflecting the same high standard of diversity.

Entraction Poker Network’s last European Masters of Poker Tour will be ending this year after the last two events, one of which is to be held in Barcelona in the very near future and the other in Dublin from November 16 to November 18, 2012.
