Leading online casino and sports betting group, Betfair, has signed a deal with Crown Limited, the Australian casino group, in terms of which the group will act as the presenting partner in the upcoming Aussie Millions Poker Tournament which is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, 17th January, 2013 and continue until Sunday, 3rd February, 2013.
The deal will see Betfair sponsor the 2013 Aussie Millions Poker Championship with its logo displayed across the tourney during this greatest poker event in the Southern Hemisphere.
The tournament will be held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne over 18 days, with buy-ins ranging from $500 to $250,000 and the London betting exchange will have its name branded on all the poker tables used in the 26 events.
Betfair will endeavor to make the next Aussie Millions the best ever by bringing the experience gained by the group after previously enjoying a partnership with the World Series of Poker Europe.
The event is expected to generate a prize pool of over $20 million. The $10,600 Main Event will commence on Sunday, 27th January, 2013 while the final table will be held on Saturday, 2nd February, 2013.
