Playtech Opens Live Casino Studio in Romania

Playtech, a leading supplier of gambling content and software, is thrilled to announce that it has opened a new “dernier cri” live casino studio facility in Bucharest, Romania in order to meet the demands of its growing list of licensees from the newly regulated countries in Eastern Europe.

Playtech already has a number of live casino studios in other European countries which include Spain and Belgium as well as in Manila and will continue to open more studios as demand grows.

The new facility in Romania gives licensees from the appropriate markets access to a vast range of new and classic game variants that have been developed by Playtech. These games include Live Roulette, Live Blackjack as well as Live Casino Hold’em which are all top quality games. Playtech has used HD camera equipment for the epitome in remote gaming entertainment and the games come with clear and smooth streaming which allows access from desktop as well as all mobile devices.

Following Romania’s recently regulated remote gambling market, Playtech applied for and was awarded four licenses by the Romanian gambling authorities and is now licensed to offer software, platform, live studio and hosting services in the country.

Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer at Playtech, commented on the launch by saying that the opening of the studio further solidified Playtech’s position as the market leader in global, cutting-edge regulated live casino gaming.

Weizer went on to say that this is just the beginning of their growth plans with a series of exciting new products and variants in their 2017 live casino roadmap as well as significant expansion plans for their other facilities.
