LeoVegas Granted Gaming License for the Irish Market

Leading mobile gaming company LeoVegas, is thrilled to announce that it was been awarded an Irish gaming license a few days ago for the launch of its sportsbook in the Irish market.

The gaming company is already active in Ireland with its award-winning mobile casino and the addition of Sport will see the company now offering a wider and more attractive mobile gaming experience.

The launch of LeoVegas’ sportsbook is due to take place in the first quarter of this year and will be managed by LeoVegas’ existing organization and res`ources.

Gustaf Hagman, the Group Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of LeoVegas, commented on the new gaming license by saying that the fact that they have in a very short time been granted licenses in two regulated markets shows that they are delivering in accordance with their expansion strategy.

Hagman went on to say that it also shows that they have high capacity and quality in their organization and in the work that they do. He also said that he is convinced that their market-leading sport product will contribute to strong growth in Ireland.

In addition to its newly awarded Irish gaming license, LeoVegas also holds gaming licenses in the United Kingdom, Malta, Ireland and Denmark.

According to H2 Gaming Capital, the Irish online gaming market was worth an estimated amount of £880 million last year.
