Malta based Bit8, a leading gaming platform software provider, is thrilled to reveal that it has secured a class II B2B license in Romania by the Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc, which sees its already vast presence in the country being strengthened.
The license follows the re-regulation of the rapidly expanding Romania market in September of last year and gives Bit8 an opportunity to offer its multi-channel platform to land-based as well as online operators.
Since striking a deal with the country’s largest retail and online bookmaker SuperBet to power its online casino site, Bit8 has established itself as the casino platform provider of choice in Romania.
The Chief Executive Officer of Bit8, Angelo Dalli, commented on the newly acquired Romanian license by saying that they are thrilled to have received their license from the regulator. He added that it is testament to the quality of their platform that it passed so quickly.
Dalli went on to say that they are particularly proud of its multi-channel functionality, helping cross-sell retail players into online as shown through their partnership with Super Bet. He added that this, combined with their license, gives them the springboard to work with other operators in the country.
